Agicultural Sustainability Celebrated at the Capitol

Waipio taro farmer Jim Cain was among many agricultural producers visiting the Capitol on Agriculture Sustainability Day at the State Capitol. The exhibitions are designed to give lawmakers and the public an opportunity to learn about the people who supply Hawaii with locally grown and produced products.

Taro Taskforce Report Presented to Legislators

Hamakua Resident and Taro Task Force member Jim Cain speaks to the Hawaiian Affairs Caucus to share the findings of the statewide task force which visited taro growing areas around the Hawaii and met with taro farmers regarding the needs and concerns of the industry.
